There are certain approved tools that can be added to a Canvas course shell. If instructors are interested in using other tools with Canvas, the instructor must fill out the request form as the first step to the vetting process. Please note that the LTI approval process is lengthy, so any tool that has not yet been vetted is unlikely to be ready for use in the current quarter. It is still possible for instructors to add LTIs to their courses for the current quarter, but instructors would have to manage the tool on their own.
