This course is an introduction to research administration at Stanford University. This high-level overview of the research and regulatory environment of research administration will help you understand the scope, potential pitfalls, and resources that are available to you to navigate your job responsibilities.

Companion Workshops

After completion of this online course, you will be required to attend two Zoom-hosted workshops to extend and reinforce your learning. At these workshops, instructors will help you apply the concepts learned from the online course, answer your questions, and more closely examine some of the nuances of this training. After completing the online course, you will be prompted to register for the workshops.

Work at Your Own Pace

The material in this course is divided into modules. If you are unable to complete all the modules at once, you can return without losing any progress. You can also go back to review any module before you take the final quiz to receive credit for this course. You can additionally audit the course material if you do not want to receive credit. Finally, this course is always available as a desktop reference.

How to Get the Most from This Course
